Intrinsic Safety testing can vary based on the standards, end devices and use environments of the device being evaluated. The battery is a component of a larger device and so the requirements being applied will be dependent on the end devices evaluation needs. You will need to contact us with information about the end device, the standards to be applied as well as the use environments to be applied. We work closely with partners to identify the testing needs based on this information to develop an appropriate test plan for the cells and batteries.
